Maxine Bell

A funeral service for Maxine Ruth Bell, age79, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, with Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mahoney Cemetery, with Laine Anderson, Mickey Peters, Dave Penson, Mike Phipps, Dale Phipps and Charles Phipps serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be one hour before service time (1:00 p.m.) at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Maxine Ruth Bell passed away at Sunny Springs Nursing Home Tuesday, December 24, 2013. She was born in Mahoney on December 2, 1934, the daughter of John A. Barnes and Leona Styner Barnes. She married Henry D. Bell in Mahoney on July 8, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nan Bell and Kim Bell Anderson and husband Morgan, all of Sulphur Springs; daughter-in-law, Patty Bell of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Brandi Bell Peters and husband Mickey, Laine Anderson, Kaylee Anderson and Lexi Anderson; one great-granddaughter, Presley Bell Peters. She was preceded in death by son, David Bell; four brothers, John Barnes Harvey Barnes, Tom Barnes and Clyde Barnes and two sisters, Billie McDaniels and Janell Phipps.
