Mary Walker

Graveside services for Mary Walker, age 94 of Terrell, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Pleasant Grove North Cemetery with Gale Kimbrough officiating. Corey Kimbrough, Cale Kimbrough, Curtis Ray Owens and Gale Kimbrough serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mary passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point. She was born on February 10, 1922 the daughter of James Albert and Texie (Morris) Kimbrow. She married Clifton Caddell, who preceded her in death in 1951. She then married Herman Walker, who preceded her in death in 1976. She was a retired shirt presser from Sulphur Springs Cleaning and Laundry and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Opal Faye Owens of Cumby; five grandchildren, Curtis Ray Owens and wife, Carla of Birch Tree, Missouri, Rebecca Owens of Cumby, Janice Owens, Clifton Colice Caddell and Elizabeth Colline Caddell Hunter; six nieces; Nelda Kimbrough Young of Terrell, Carolyn Kimbrough Bates of San Antonio, Judy Kimbrough Mallett and husband, Gary of Forney, Paula Kimbrough Applegate of Canton, Louise Kimbrough Savadina of Montgomery and Ruthie Kimbrough of Lubbock; one nephew, Albert Gale Kimbrough and wife, Vickie of Edgewood; two great-grandchildren, Crystal Owens Stoops and husband, Jeremy and Constance Owens and one great-great-grandson, Benjamin Stoops.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers, James Kimbrough, Porter Kimbrough, Albert Kimbrough and John Kimbrough; sister, Deanie May Kimbrough; son, John James Caddell and daughter, Nell Ruth Caddell.
