Mary Sharber

Graveside funeral services for Mary Sharber, age 65, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Weaver Cemetery. Rev. Billy Sharber and Renee Schwartz will officiate.

Joe McCoy, Joey McCoy, Chip Tully, Aaron Edwards, Ryan Sharber, Phillip Williams, J.J. Williams, Khory Hadnot, and Brian Beadle will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. Sharber passed away on Wednesday evening, April 2, 2008, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1942, in Alvin, Texas, the daughter of Verdis and Dovie Broughton Tully. She married Billy Sharber, on March 27, 1964, in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2007.

Mrs. Sharber retired from Walmart Garden Center and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include: a son Billy Joe Sharber, of Sulphur Bluff; a daughter, Renee Schwartz, of Baytown; two sisters, Sue Johnson of Harlington and Rhonda Williams of Sulphur Springs; a brother, Delbert Tully, of Weaver; four grandchildren, Amberly Hadnot, Ryan Sharber, Chaney Schwartz and Wesley Bertrand; and one great-grandson, Josiah Hadnot.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
