Graveside Services for Mary Ellen Joslin, age 75, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 at Tira Cemetery with Rev. Edgar Clements officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob McGary, Donny McGary, Travis Booth, Billy Fouse, Tony Giles, Clint Booth, Jacob George, and Daniel Williamson. Visitation will be 10:00 am till noon on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mary Ellen Joslin passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at The Cottages @ Carriage House Manor Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Caddo Mills on June 6, 1938 the daughter of Bascom Norris and Rosie Pauline Greer Lunsford. She married Floyd Louise Joslin in Dike on May 14, 1955. She was of the Baptist faith and retired certified Nurse Aid.
Survivors include: husband, Floyd Joslin of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Joan Booth of Sulphur Springs, Rox Anne Ennis & husband, David of Pickton, Debra McGary& husband, Donny of Sulphur Springs; sons, Roger Joslin of Sulphur Springs and Malcolm Joslin & wife, Tiffany of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Bettie Stacks of Mt. Pleasant and Margaret McCoy of Sulphur Springs; brother, Billy Lunsford of Sulphur Bluff; grandchildren, Cheryl Vargas, Clint Booth, Ceara George, Luke Hathcoat, Renaye Hathcoat, Brandy Clark, Doni Rae Giles, Stephanie Williamson, Jacob McGary, Landon Joslin, Morgan Joslin, Kenden Joslin, Jaidyn Joslin; twenty-five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Gilbert Lunsford.
