Mary Brock

Funeral services for Ms. Mary "Belle" Brock, age 68, of Lubbock and formerly of Hopkins County, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Benny Dixon will officiate.

Interment will follow services in Restlawn Memorial Park with Brian Rabe, Steve Brock, Chris Brock, Robert Brock, Kevin Brown, and Ronnie Harris serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Ms. Brock passed away on Saturday morning, March 15, 2008, at Covenant Specialty Hospital, in Lubbock. She was born on June 5, 1939, in Bryan, TX, the daughter of Andrew Lucious and Martha Baker Simmons. She married Tommy Lee Brock, in Lovington, NM, on December 15, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2006.

Survivors include: two daughters, Katherine Brock, of Lubbock, and Brenda Rabe of Ronoke; two sons, Bill Brock of Sulphur Springs and Allen "Rocky" Brock of Emory: two sisters, Francis Willis of Lubbock and Barbara Coats of Emory; six brothers, H.N. Simmons of Pineland, Jack Simmons of Montgomery, Andy Simmons of Liberty, David Simmons of Romayor, James Simmons and Bob Simmons, both of Bryan; four grandchildren, Brian Rabe, Joshua Brock, Steven Brock, and Christopher Brock; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Allen.
