Funeral services for Martha Jane Rushin Stokley, age 59, of Sulphur Springs
will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2012, with Rev. Lee Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery, with Randy Rushin, Kyle Verner, Jay Rushin, Grant Perkins, Daniel Lewis, Joe Joiner and Donald Hopper serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour before the service (1:00 p.m.).
Martha Jane Rushin Stokley passed away at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Tuesday morning, February 14, 2012. She was born in Sulphur Springs January 25, 1953, the daughter of Murrel John Rushin and Helen Lourece (McGraw) Rushin. She married Kenneth Wayne Stokley in Sulphur Springs on August 9, 1997; he survives. She was a retired customer service representative for Terry's Furniture. She was a 1971 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: son, Christopher Paul Tully of Lovelady; sister, Wynona Willis and husband, Major, of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Johnny Rushin and wife, Rita, Mike Rushin, all of Sulphur Springs, Donnis Rushin and wife, Kaye, of Danville, Virginia and grandchildren, Mckinzie and Kyle Dunn. She was preceded in death by brother, Rodney Wayland Rushin and a baby brother Rushin.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Sterling Cemetery Association, Calvary Baptist Church and/or charity of choice.
