Marsel Lee

Funeral service for Marsel Lee, age 67, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ with Bishop Nelson J. Gatlin.  Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Lee passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Brother Marsel Lee was born to the parentage of Jessie and Eddye Lee, in Sulphur Springs, TX on December 29th, 1951.

He was educated in the Sulphur Springs school district and received his GED from Ashworth High with honors in 2012. He was married to his beautiful wife of 16 years, Phoebe Person Lee.

Marsel attended the Arbala Road Church of Christ for several years. He then joined fellowship at Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Nelson J. Gatlin.

After 27 plus years he retired from Walmart.

Marsel leaves behind his children; Ashley Foster, Terrance Wheat, Almeka Franklin (Darrell); grandchildren, Skylar, Jaycion, Elijah, Logan, Hezekiah, and Princeton; Godson, Nehemiah; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as brothers, Jessie (Eddye Jean), James (Eva), Curtis (Thelma), and Ralphel Lee (Thundra).

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
