Marilyn Allen

A graveside service for Marilyn Allen, age 90, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Marilyn Allen passed away Monday, July 06, 2009 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. She was born in Navarro County, on February 4, 1919, the daughter of S. M. Cole and Mabel (Grayson) Cole. She married Robert Earl Allen in Dallas, on August 10, 1946. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Allen was retired from the District Clerk's Office in Sulphur Springs and she was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son, James Allen of Sulphur Springs; brother, Sam Cole of Arlington; grandson, Christopher Allen and granddaughter, Crystal Allen.
