A funeral service for Margie Hall, age 86, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012, with Rev. Bruce Stinson and Rev. Tommy Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Larry Vickers, Benny Williamson, Gerald Garner, Royce Vickers, Kevin Tipps and Derek Hall serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Gafford. Visitation will be held one hour before the service (1:00 p.m.) at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Margie Hall passed away Sunday evening, July 15, 2012 at Carriage House Manor. She was born in Hopkins County September 9, 1925, the daughter of Elmer Vickers and Kate (Burkhart) Vickers. She married Charles Clifton Hall at Brashear on February 5, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church since 1949.
Survivors include: son, Garry Lynn Hall and wife, Lynn; daughter, Linda Gail Courson and husband, James; sister, Mary Hurt, all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Michelle Tipps and Kevin and Amy Henderson and great-grandchildren, Micah and Jonah Henderson. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Edith Garner, Lorene Beckham, Eva Lee Williamson and Irene Hargrave and two brothers, R. C. Vickers and J. D. Vickers.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church.
