Lonnie Furbay

Funeral services for Lonnie Furbay, age 64, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Wesley United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012, with Rev. Brian Bosworth officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Jimmy Regan, David Kelly, Lanny Cafey, Mike Rawson, Mason Rawson and Jim Skaggs serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Lonnie Furbay passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2012 at the Heart Hospital in Plano. He was born in Newcomers Town, Ohio, October 2, 1947, the son of John Leroy Furbay and Frances E. (Warner) Furbay. He married Sharon Heath in Durant, Oklahoma on July 7, 1972; she survives. He was a customer service representative in quality control for Flow Serve and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of East Texas State University.
Other survivors include: daughter, Debra Furbay of Sulphur Springs and brother, Ronald Lance Furbay of Newcomers Town, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.
