Linnie Ledbetter

Funeral services for Linnie Mae Ledbetter, age 86, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bill Miller and Bro. David Lindsely will officiate.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with John Lindsely, Brandon Frey, Danny Cavanaugh, Tony McGovern, Larry Freeberg, and Jerry Sierocki serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Ledbetter's great-grandsons.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ledbetter passed away on Thursday morning, April 24, 2008, at Hospice of East Texas Homeplace, in Tyler. She was born in Hopkins County, on March 11, 1922, the daughter of John and Amanda Irons. She married J.P. Ledbetter, in Sulphur Springs, on January 8, 1944. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: two son, Freddie Ledbetter of Winnsboro and Troy Ledbetter of McKinney; six grandchildren, Jillie Powell, Leah Russ, Robin Whatley, Tammy Ethridge, Ambie Tolleson and Gina Lawson; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
