Funeral services for Linda Jo York, age 62 of Mt. Pleasant, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Powers officiating. Interment will follow at North Hopkins cemetery with Jacob Smith, Cole Smith, Ethan Busby, Landon Bass, Brian Arthur, Jack Cain, Adam Janes and Skyler Pruitt serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Linda Jo passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. She loved her family, grandchildren and her cats. She worked for Walmart for over twenty years.

She was born on June 21, 1953, the daughter of Jack and Imogene (Dorner) Arthur in Sulphur Springs.

Survivors include her son, Scott Anderson of Cookville; daughter, Stephanie Busby and husband, Jimmy of Cookville; brother, Ricky Jack Arthur and wife Pam of Garland; sisters, Deborah Cain and husband, Steve of Cooper and Sharon Kay Arthur of Cooper; grandsons, Jacob Smith, Cole Smith and Ethan Busby all of Cookville; granddaughter, Kaitie Busby of Winnsboro; two nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew and her Walmart family.
