Linda Richey

Funeral services for Linda Richey, age 62, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009, with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery, with Barry Ferrill, James Sidebottom, Bobby Putman, B. J. Smithers, Cheyenne Smithers and James Bagwell, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Linda Richey passed away at Hospice of East Texas, Monday, April 13, 2009. She was born in Boston, Kentucky, on November 27, 1946, the daughter of Sanford Hiser Sidebottom and Mary Lee (Hutchinson) Sidebottom. She married Bobby G. Richey in the Sherley Community on October 24, 1972; he survives. Linda was employee/manager of Dairy Queen for 38 years and a member of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: three sons, Gary Richey of Denton, Ray Richey of Cypress and Eric Richey of Saltillo; sister, Patty Morgan; brother, William Sidebottom, both of Sulphur Springs, Kenneth Sidebottom of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky; grandchildren, Michael Richey, Brandon Richey, Jonothon Richey, Russell Richey, Julia Richey, C. J. Richey, Christopher Richey and Chase Richey and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Shorty Sidebottom and Donnie Sidebottom and sister, Jane Miller.
