Memorial services for Linda Henning, 59 of Sulphur Springs will be held 3:30 pm, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Visitation will be held 6 till 8 pm, Monday, December 15, 2008 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Linda Henning passed away Friday, December 12, 2008 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Sulphur Springs on July 3, 1949, the daughter of John Riley and Earlene Tully Rhodes. She married Thomas Eugene Henning in Sulphur Springs on January 20, 2001. He survives. She was retired Postmaster and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Katherine Burns and husband, Barry of Powderly, Mikki Flanigan of Sulphur Springs, Lauren Henning of Phoenix, AZ ; three sons, John Plemons and wife Erin, of Pattonville, TX, Brent Plemons and wife Jill of Winnsboro, TX, Andrew Henning of Lewisville, TX ; her parents, John Riley and Earlene Tully Rhodes of Sulphur Springs; grandmother, Lorraine Hamilton of Sulphur Springs; one sister, Barbara Smith of Henderson; one brother, John Rhodes, Jr. and wife Rita, of Sulphur Springs; fourteen grandchildren, Keaton Flanigan, Kortney Flanigan, Kameron Flanigan, Nicholas Burns, Jordan Burns, Braelyn Burns, Justin Wilson, Garret Plemons, Tyler Plemons, Lori Plemons, Lance Plemons, Rachel Plemons, Gerogianna Plemons and Wyatt Plemons.
