Lee Huff, Sr. passed away Tuesday evening, May 31, 2011 at Sunny Springs Nursing & Rehab. He was born in Versailles, Missouri on July 2, 1925, the son of Elzie Edward Huff and Odessa Pearl (Hopkins) Huff. He married Imogene Ruth Jines. She preceded him in death in 1993. He married Thelma Louise Kinard. She preceded him in death in 2009. He was a rancher and member of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include: five sons, Rev. Lee Huff and wife Teresa Alice of Sulphur Springs, John Daniel Huff and wife Debbie of Talco, Michael Clay Huff and wife Dawn of Los Angeles, California, Barry Kinard and Lee Randoff, both of Sulphur Springs; four daughters, Cheryl Christine Channon and husband George of Huffman, Katherine Ann Councellor, Jennifer Lee Crisp, both of Houston and Brenda Randoff of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Jackson "Doc" Huff and wife Ruby of Cameron, Dwight Huff and wife Angie of Missouri; two sisters, Nita Mae Ford of Willis and Carol Jean James and husband Don of Jefferson City, Missouri; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karleen Odessa Vavra and sister, Rita Lee. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
