Funeral services for Lee Otis French, age 78, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011, with Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Lee Otis French passed away at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital , Monday evening, February 7, 2011. He was born in Coke, on September 1, 1932, the son of Rev. Leonard French and Viola (Martin) French. He married Ludell Sparks in Winnsboro on December 23, 1953; she survives. Mr. French was a retired dairyman from Hopkins County. He was a member of Assembly of God Church.

Other survivors include: daughter, Marie Rogers; sons: Joe French, Kenneth French, all of Sulphur Springs and Ronnie French of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Kathy Lynn French of Coke and Joy Nelson of Greenville; grandchildren, Leanna Brantley, Paul French, Jason Trout, Rylee French, Brandon Rogers and Kenneth Rogers and great-grandchildren, Allyiah French, Dawson Rogers, Chelsey Rogers, Maranda Brantley, Jacie Rogers, Ethan Rogers, Colton Brantley, Jaden Rogers, Alex Rogers, Blake Rogers and Dillon Rogers. He was preceded in death by one brother, Levohn French.
