Lavona Qualls

A memorial service for Lavona Teer Qualls, age 72, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 with Bro. BJ Teer and Bro. Lloyd Cashions offiacing. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Lavona Teer Qualls passed away Sunday morning at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 17, 1941 in Hopkins County, TX the daughter of George Richard and Nettie Jnowski Teer. She married Lee Qualls in Dallas, TX on October 12, 1973. He preceded her in death in 2005. She retired from the County of Dallas and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: brothers, Valton Teer and wife, Merlene of Como, and Harold and wife, Marlena of Mena, AR; sister, Betty Gonzalez and husband, Manuel of Alexandria, VA ; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial can be made to Black Oak Cemetery.
