Larry Cameron passed away Friday, August
1, 2008 in Antlers, Oklahoma as the result of
a motorcycle accident. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 12, 1960, the son of Horace and Sarah Pace Cameron. Larry worked his adult life as a salesman and last worked for Hypro Corporation of New Brighton, MN. He was a deacon of First Assembly of God, and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, and the Hopkins County Christian Alliance.
Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Nebraska football brightened his life, but more than activities or hobbies, Larry loved the Lord and people. He never really knew a stranger. Besides his children and his family, Larry adored his grandsons. They were a great source of pride and joy to him. He would drop anything to help anyone. His smile would lighten up any room, his sense
of humor was fabulous, and his heart was huge.
Survivors include: daughters, Jamie Young, and husband, Antwone, and Jennifer Cameron, both of Sulphur Springs; sons, Jeremy Cameron, and Josh Cameron, both of Sulphur Springs; parents, Sarah Cameron, of Omaha, NE and Harry Cameron, of Greenville, IL; brothers, Steve Cameron, Ron Cameron, and wife, Karen, John Cameron, and wife, Cindy, all of Omaha, NE; sister, Patty Jacobs, and husband, Michael, of Omaha, NE; grandsons, Matthew Young, Maddux Cameron-Weatherall, and Baby Johnson (due in late August), all of Sulphur Springs; nieces and nephews, Bree Cameron, Kristina Jacobs, Johnathan Jacobs, Christopher Cameron, and Timothy Cameron, all of Omaha, NE.
