Lanny Ferrell

Funeral service for Lanny Ferrell, age 48, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. Andy Wright and Bro. Phillip Mathis officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Cody Williams, Steven Smith, Calvin Brey, David Smith, Danny Darlin, and Warren Mitchell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Martin and Brad Nokes. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Lanny passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX.

Lanny Ferrell was born December 29, 1972 in Sulphur Springs to Charles and Deborah Ferrell. He married Kim Clark in Ponca City, OK on April 9, 2008. Lanny worked as a project manager for Turn2 Specialty Companies and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Ferrell of Sulphur Springs; sons, Jonah Ferrell of Sulphur Springs, Austin Oldham and wife, Bailie, of Greenville; parents, Charles and Deborah Ferrell; granddaughter, Milah Oldham; sister, Lori Timko and husband, Jeff; brother, Steven Smith; niece, Haley Timko; and nephew, Aden Timko.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Polly Ferrell and Grace Nabors.
