Landon Dyer

Funeral service for Landon Brody Dyer, age 27, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014 at First Baptist Church, in Sulphur Springs with Bro. L.D. Baxley officiating. Interment will follow at Rockdale Cemetery with Jason Huneycutt, Johnie McGraw, Layne Ashmore, Clint Bain, Casey Emerine and Tyler Law serving as pallbearers. Visitation is 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Brody died Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Greenville. He was born June 27, 1986 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Kenneth Dyer and Cindy Smith Bain. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School, attended college for three years and was a carpenter.
Survivors include: his mother, Cindy Bain and husband Mike of Sulphur Springs; his father, Kenneth Dyer and wife Cindy of Mt. Vernon; brothers, Bo Dustin Dyer Sr. (Bobbie) of Sulphur Springs, Aaron Chance Dyer (Randee) of Mt. Vernon, Kaleb Daniel Dyer of Houston, Trey Clark (Heather) and Brody Clark both of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Kristi Hayes (Kenny) of Sulphur Springs, Heather Wiggins (Tony) of Como and Stephanie Gerdes (Joey) of Mt. Vernon;grandparents, Charles & Gracie Dyer of Hagansport, Sandy Smith, Ruby Bain and Ilene Harris all of Sulphur Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lowell "Smitty" Smith and Jack Bain.
