Kevin McPherson, Sr.

Funeral Service for Kevin McPherson, Sr., age 54, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11 am, Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. C. J. Duffy officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Scott McPherson, Michael McPherson, Shane McPherson, Terry McCreary, Steven Van Holton, and Billy Daehn serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. McPherson passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence.

Kevin was born on May 9, 1964 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Kenneth McPherson and Carolyn (Clark) McPherson. Kevin was an employee of Lowes Distribution and was in the equipment maintenance department. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Deonna McPherson, mother, Carolyn McPherson, sons, Kenneth McPherson and wife Britiani, Kevin McPherson and wife Jo all of Sulpher Springs. Two step-daughters, Brittany Wharton and husband Mark of Royce City and Shelby Boyett and husband Zack of Dallas; four grandchildren, Makenzi, Jaetyn, Charlie, and Hailiegh. Sisters, Daria Cain and husband Hank and Traci Story of Sulphur Springs. Four nieces and nephews; Dustin Speed, Tessa Lappin, Carissa Scott and Chelsea Beaver.

Kevin also leaves behind his best friend “Maddie Ann”.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth McPherson, his maternal and paternal grandparents, Earl and Velma Clark and Cullen and Edith McPherson
