Kenneth Griggs

A memorial service for Ken Griggs, age 56, of Point, will be conducted at The Way Bible Church at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014, with Dr. Joel Tiemeyer and Mitch Griggs officiating. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Ken Griggs passed away at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler Monday morning, January 6, 2014. He was born in Sulphur Springs October 2, 1957, the son of Howard Griggs and Sharon Payne Griggs. He married Sherry Lee Greenlaw in Greenville July 12, 2006; she survives. He was a retired tool builder for E Systems and a member of N.R.A. and Corvette Club.
Other survivors include: his mother, Sharon Griggs of Sulphur Springs; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Patricia Greenlaw; two daughters, Leah Sparks and husband Jared of Longview and Dawn Gomez and husband Eddie of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Jeff Griggs and Mitch Griggs, both of Sulphur Springs; brother-in-law, Matt Greenlaw; sister-in-law, Maurie Wright and husband, David; grandchildren, Kenneth Scott Sparks, Sadie Sparks, Allison Ely and Gabriel Gomez; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Jessica Griggs.
