Keith Barrett

Funeral services for Keith J. Barrett, age 82, of Cumby, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 26, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Elvis Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Pippin & Hill Cemetery with Kelly Barrett, Jeremy Abbott, Rodney Hobbs, Shane Partridge, Joshua Barrett, and Alx Olker serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour before the service (1:00 P.M.) on Monday.
Keith Barrett passed away Saturday morning, March 24, 2012, at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. He was born on March 21, 1930 in Hopkins County to Rev. Otis Barrett and Lillie Mae (Hill) Barrett. Mr. Barrett married Bethena Sparks on July 7, 1953 in Van Zant County. She Survives. He worked 23 years for an aluminum extrusion company and 10 years for Hopkins County Precinct 1 Road and Bridge Department.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jeffrey Barrett and wife Barbara, of Greenville and Terry Don Barrett of Paris; one daughter, Vineta Partridge and husband Micheal, of Cumby; two sisters, Aline Bloodsworth of Euless and Linell Woods of Point; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, J.B. Barrett and Roy D. Barrett, and a sister, Viola Barrett.
