Kathleen Nowlin

A funeral Service for Kathleen "Kat" Nowlin, age 88, of Como will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Leo Wisniewski officiating. Interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery with Dakota Brown and John Glenn serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Kathleen "Kat" Nowlin passed away at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab. Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2013. She was born in Como on March 30, 1925, the daughter of Willie and Tersie (Neyland) Blann. She married Garvin Nowlin in San Antonio May 5, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a retired laundry manager for Washington State D.S.H.S. and a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, John Elton Nowlin of Tacoma, Washington and Victor Scott Nowlin of Como; grandchildren, Kelcey Harris and husband Rob of Belfair, Washington, Robert Kinsey and wife Amanda of Gig harbor, Washington, Jim Kinsey and wife Deanna of Bend Oregon and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Blann and brother, John Blann.
