Funeral services for Judy Kirkpatrick, age 51, of Como, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Sparks and Rev. L.D. Baxley will officiate.

Interment will follow services at the Harmony Cemetery, with Richard Alford, Shannon Alford, Vernon Allen, Michael Allen, Alan Henson, Daniel Weatheread, Jonathan Keller, Billy Pennuell, Justin Coates, and Danny Ireland serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2008, at the funeral home.

Judy Brown Kirkpatrick passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Hopking County Memorial Hospital, from a short-term illness. She was born on May 19, 1956, to Jesse Frank and Mona Castle Brown. She was a homemaker and wonderful and loving wife to Benny Ray Kirkpatrick and a loving and devoted mother to Matthew Kirkpatrick of Greenville and Cari Kirkpatrick Fenimore of Sulphur Springs.

Judy was "Grammy" to Zoee Simpson and a sweet mother-in-law to James Fenimore. She was a member of Family Life Church in Sulphur Springs. She had a caregiver's heart and loved taking care of children and the elderly. She was full of love for everybody and loved them unconditionally. She learned to play the piano in her early 30's and through her music enjoyed praising and worshipping the Lord. She was an extraordinary woman and touched many lives.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a son, Matthew Ray Kirkpatrick of Greenville; a daughter, Caril Layne Fenimore of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Carolyn Deas of Quitman, Ramona Smith of Scroggins, and Chris Ireland of Pickton; a brother Jesse Don Brown of Pickton; a granddaughter, Zoee Simpson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
