Jubal Lawson

Funeral services for Jubal Lawson, age 54 of Cooper will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Three Rusty Nails Church in Cooper with Caleb Wright and Steve Spates officiating.

Jubal passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Hopkins County. He was born in Dallas on July 14, 1960, the son of Bill and June (Springer) Lawson. He married Dee Ann Lawson on March 23, 2001 in Cooper. She survives. He was a mechanic and member of Three Rusty Nails Church.

Other survivors include sons, Jubal Lawson, Jr. of Bonham and Rusty Lawson and wife, Melissa of Bonham; three grandchildren; step-sons, Michael Soto, Andy Soto and Frankie Angel Soto; step-daughters, Chasidi Ramos and Shannon Soto; seventeen step-grandchildren; sisters, Cindy Fox and Kelly Lawson and brother, Mark Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Connie Niette, Billie Cooper and Patti Head and one brother, Buzzy Lawson.
