Juanita Caldwell

A funeral service for Juanita Caldwell, age 77, of Cumby will be conducted at St. James Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2013.
Juanita Caldwell passed away Saturday night, September 14, 2013 at Azalea Place in Tyler. She was born in Dallas January 27, 1936, the daughter of Ambrosio Orona and Mary (Canales) Orona. She married Rex Caldwell in Dallas on August 22, 1952; he survives. She was a homemaker and she was of the Catholic faith.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Rexine Caldwell Trent of Avinger, Linda Sue Long of Cleburne; three sons, Michael Caldwell of Fate, James Caldwell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Rex Caldwell, Jr. of Coweta, Oklahoma; sister, Conchita Franco; two brothers, John Torres and Freddie Torres, all of Dallas; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Lee Caldwell and Rexford Lee Caldwell, Jr.
