Joyce Robertson

Funeral Services for Joyce M. Robertson, age 90 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Spence Chapel at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Welch and Rev. Tommy Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1:00 p.m.) at Spence Chapel.

Joyce M. Robertson passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. She was born April 16, 1924 to William Tower Lemmond and Daisy Rebecca (Price) Lemmond in Wood County. She married Hershal A. Robertson on August 26, 1946 in Commerce; he survives. Mrs. Robertson was a retired school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Retired School Teachers Association of Texas and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Other survivors include sister, Betty Stanley of Ft. Worth.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Will T. Lemmond.
