Joyce McCown

A graveside service for Joyce McCown, age 56, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Peerless Cemetery, with Brother David Burns officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Joyce McCown passed away at her residence Thursday morning, May 17, 2012. She was born September 29, 1955 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of James Edman Denny and Lena Mary (Virgel) Denny. She married Ronny McCown. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: daughter, Tina Michell Villarreal-Blake; son, James Edmond Villarreal, both of Sulphur Springs; sister, Jimmy Mae Havner of Dike; grandchildren, Chasen Carpenter, Emily Ann Villarreal and Lauren Ashley Villarreal; seven nephews; three nieces; special nephew, Jack Edmond Ross and special niece, Linda Lambe. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J. C. Denny and Allen Ray Denny and sister, Mary Lou Ross.
