Johnny Vine

A graveside service for Johnny Vine, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Pine Forest Cemetery, with Rudy Ellis officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Hank Vine, Bert Isabell, Reed Ballard, Danny Vine, Shaun Vine and Johnny Froneberger. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Harris, james Duran and James Fouse. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), before the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Johnny Vine passed away Monday morning, May 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born in New York City, the son of Warren Ringold Vine, Sr. and Mary Vine. He married Glenn Rea Hicks in Dallas in 1972. She preceded him in death in 2006. He was a wholesale florist, musician, stuntman and weapons coordinator for movies. He was a member of the Teamsters' Union.
Survivors include; three sons, Hank Vine (Rachel), Bert Isabell, all of Sulphur Springs and Danny Vine of Avenger; three daughters, Julie Vine of Carrolton, Lisa Vine of Dallas and Mindy Vine of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Bonnie Kaufman of Loveland, Colorado and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
