Joe Walker

A graveside service for Joe Don Walker, age 57, of Dike, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Conner Cemetery, with Rev. Butch Bruton officiating. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Joe Don Walker passed away Wednesday morning, April 7, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He was born in Greenville on October 5, 1952, the son of Don and Margie (Patten) Walker. He married Linda Ann Snell in Mission on October 4, 2006; she survives. Mr. Walker was in management at the Dollar General. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Dawn Phillips, Dana Benton, both of Princeton, Sara Barnes of Sherman and Lee Ann Webster of Springtown; son, Brian Walker of Sherman; mother, Margie Moore of Dike; two sisters, Kathy Walker of Dike and Judy McCoy of Springfield, Massachusetts and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
