Celebration of Life for Joe K. “Joe Bear” McIntyre, age 68, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1200 Loop 301 (Acme Trading Company), Sulphur Springs, Texas. “Joe Bear” McIntyre passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at Christus Mother Frances in Sulphur Springs, TX.
Joe K. McIntyre, “Joe Bear”, was born on August 25th, 1948 in Mt Vernon, Texas to Bud and Bernice (Wisdom) McIntyre. “Joe Bear” aka “Catfood”, developed his passion for motorcycles at an early age, if he wasn’t trucking, he was in the wind. He was a retired trucker. He met his wife, Cathy Sinclair, in 1973 and they ran into each other through the years, eventually reunited in March of 2006, they were married on August 9, 2010 in Sulphur Springs, TX. “Joe Bear” met no strangers and was loved by everyone. He was always a good friend.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; step-daughter, Rachel Eubanks and husband Jamie; step-son, Jeremiah Lewis; step-granchildren, Amanda Boyd, Amber Eubanks, Kimberly Eubanks, Heather Eubanks, Jayla Lewis and Railyn Lewis; sister, Sherry Briggs and husband Jerry; nephews, Kevin Briggs and wife Kim, Derrick Briggs and wife Niki, Jason Briggs and a bunch of other great nieces and nephews.
“Joe Bear” was preceded in death by his parents.
