Jimmie "J.D." Poarch

Funeral service for Jimmie “J.D” Poarch, age 75, of Pickton, TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Pickton TX.  Interment will follow at New Pickton Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Poarch passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home.

Jimmie was born on May 14, 1945 in Watonga, OK to Weldon and Hazel (Cross) Poarch.  He married Patricia Humphrey on April 2, 1970 in Dallas, TX.  Jimmy spent 35 years in the printing business and then 15 years with Home Depot.  He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and Oddfellows.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Phillip Poarch and wife, Malynda of Greenville, Paul Poarch and wife, Kelly of Dallas; grandchildren, Grace Marks, Charlee Poarch and Everly Poarch; sisters, Wilba Koetter, Eloise Espy, Carol Wright, Jodene Carter, Anita Reeder; brothers, Charlie Poarch, Gerald Poarch.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Valgean Poarch, Bob Poarch, Kenneth Poarch, W.E. Poarch Jr; sisters, Patricia Franks, Billie Felton.
