Jerry Hatcher

Funeral service for Jerry Don Hatcher, age 71, of Sulphur Springs,TX will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Oliver McMahan, Rev. Rusty Posey, and Rev. Michael Coker officiating. Interment will follow at North Hopkins Cemetery with Ethan Sanders, Junior Gregg, Gary Sanvig, Lesli Deal, Charles Pearson, and James Mitchell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Whittiker and Shane Toland. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hatcher passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence.

Jerry Don Hatcher was born on February 28, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Harvey and Irene (Goldsmith) Hatcher. Jerry worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by daughters, Shelia Arroyo and Sharon Baxley and husband, Samuel; grandchildren, Teresa Falls (Josh), Elizabeth Sanders (Ethan), Anthony Arroyo, Katarina Bell (Kyle), and Joseph Baxley; sister-in-law, Myrna Hatcher; and great-grandchildren, Jael, Malachi and Danielle.

Jerry Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, R. Lee Hatcher, Troy Hatcher, and Ennis Ray Hatcher; and sisters, Lavearl Strickland, Glenna Davis, and Neva Toland.
