Janie Minter

A funeral service for Janie Hyatt Minter, age 63, of Rowlett, will be conducted at Pickton United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014, with Rev. Henry Suche officiating. Interment will follow at New Pickton Cemetery with Jeff Hyatt, Greg Pleasant, Brian Pleasant, Gary Strobel, Terry Hyatt and Thomas Minter serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Pickton United Methodist Church.
Janie Hyatt Minter passed away at Christian Care Center in Mesquite Monday morning, January 6, 2014. She was born in Littlefield November 7, 1950, the daughter of Paul Hyatt and Naomi Whitaker Hyatt. She married Tom Minter May 5, 1986. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was a retired accountant and a member of Sunnyvale Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Kasey Minter; son, Thomas Minter, both of Rowlett; brother, Terry Hyatt of Plano; grandchild, Samantha Heflin and great-grandchild, Brookelynn Heflin. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
