James Morris, Sr.

A memorial Service for James Michael Morris, Sr., age 50, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, with Rev. Paul Pogue and Rev. Ricky Self officiating.
James Michael Morris, Sr. passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Sulphur Springs, July 21, 1962, the son of Philip Morris and Robbie (Meador) Morris. He married Brenda Lee Penny; she survives. He was a machinist and concrete finisher and a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Samantha Brink and husband, Johan, of Waco and Amanda Morris of Sulphur Springs; two sons, James Morris, Jr. and wife, Hannah, of Saltillo and Wesley Morris of Sulphur Springs; his father; sister, Cathy Ward; brother, Joe Morris, all of Greenville; grandchildren, Anthony Brink, J.J. Brink, Makensa Morris, Cali Morris and James Morris, III. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2004.
