James Kizer

Funeral services for James E. Kizer, age 52, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 11:oo a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at the Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Larry Keiss will officiate.

Interment will follow services in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Ladonia, with Mr. Kizer's nephews serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Kizer passed away on Saturday morning, March 1, 2008, at Sunny Springs Nursing Health & Rehab. He was born in Bonham, Tx, on September 30, 1955, the son of George and Bertha Stepp Kizer. He married Pamela Joyce Kizer, in Sulphur Springs, on February 11, 1994. She survives.

Mr. Kizer was a concrete finisher.

Other survivors include: a son, James Kizer, Jr., of Sulphur Springs; four daughters, Rebecca Lamb, of Sulphur Springs, Angela Morrow, of Teague, Alicia Gibson of Sulphur Springs, and Toni Rhodes of Mexia; two sisters, Sue Dabney of Mexia and Mary Heddens of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Jack Kizer of Sulphur Springs, and Bill Kizer of Teague; and grandchildren, Emily Richardson, Ariel Morrow, Aaron Lucas, Sulivan Lamb, Blake Anthony, Alecia Briceno, and Jasmine Briceno.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Orland Kizer, Garnish Kizer, and Johnny Kizer; and two sisters, Virginia Petrea, and Peggy Kizer.

Memorials may be made to the Kizer Family, c/o Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, to help defray funeral expenses.
