James Keadle

Funeral Services for James F. Keadle, age 73 of Cumby, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2014 at Cross Country Cowboy Church with Rev. Stephen Leech officiating. Military and Masonic graveside service and interment will follow at Long Cemetery with Robert Cash, Bryan Steward, Billy Scroggins, Jason Lowwill and Michael Elkins serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Mosely, Karl Clauss and William Goode. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Keadle died on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
He was born on June 19, 1941, the son of Wylie Eugene, Sr. and Nora Mae Hesser Keadle in Hallsville, TX. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of the Hopkins Masonic Lodge #180 in Cumby.
He married Doris Ann Wilson on February 4, 1966 in Garland, Texas. She preceded him in death in 2014.
Survivors included: daughter, Donna Cozzens and husband, Jordan of Cumby; sister, Lauratta Hines of Marshall, Mary Gordon of Georgia; brothers, Leeroy Keadle of Georgia, Charles Keadle of Longview and Bill Keadle; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
