Jackie Boles, Sr.

Jackie Boles, Sr. was born on January 21, 1941 in Cooper, Texas to E.W. Lige and Jean (Maynard) Boles. He married Mary Martin in the Posey Baptist Church on July 10, 1971. Jackie proudly served on the North Hopkins School Board for 19 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He also served in the National Guard and was a dairy farmer for 25 years.

 Jackie is survived by his wife, Mary Boles of Posey; daughter, Shaunda Knight and husband Joe of Greenville; son, Jackie Boles, Jr. and wife Kari of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Kelli Crawford and husband Jerry of Sulphur Springs; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Irvin and husband Bobby of Cooper, Linda Mobley and husband Ronald of Sulphur Springs; sisters-in-law, Peggy Boles and Becky Boles of Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, E.W. Lige and Jean Boles; brothers, Jerald Boles and Mike Boles; sister, Vickie Morris; grandson, Matthew Virgel; and granddaughter, Star Nuckolls.
