Jack Webb Sr.

A graveside service for Jack Webb Sr., 89 of Sulphur Springs will be held Friday 2:00p.m., April 25, 2014 at Horton Cemetery with Reverend Debra Pridemore officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Jack Webb Sr. died on April 22, 2014. He was born to Benjamin Franklin Webb and Blanche Lee Webb of Wolfe City. He first married Ruth Smith who preceded him in death, and then married Margie Cavanaugh who also preceded him in death.

Jack served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He retired from Rockwell International and was also a shade tree mechanic.

Other survivors include two daughters Ruth Ann Horn and husband David, Gena Sanderson; two sons Jack Allen Webb Jr. and Joel Ray and wife Tasha Webb all of Sulphur Springs.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, two sons Billy Carl Webb and Jeffery Lee Webb, a daughter Donna Lynn Webb, three grandsons and one great granddaughter.
