A graveside service for Jack (Pat) Patman Elliott of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove, with Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be
Benny Vice, Chris Perkins, Pat Waddle, David Fincher, Ricky Doyle and Robert Shaffer. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Spencer, Matt Wiedemann and Clay Wiedemann. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Jack (Pat) Patman Elliott passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Bonham July 30, 1943, the son of Arthur Lee Elliott, Jr. and Honey (Patman) Elliott. He married Patricia Morrison in Sherman August 29, 1964; she survives. He was a retired equipment salesman, former owner of Temple Ford Tractor/Holland Supply and salesman for Farm Country, Inc. and Hunt County Farm Supply. He graduated from E.T.S.U. He served in the United States Marines and was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: two sons, John David Elliott of Terrell and Samuel Patman Elliott and wife, Sarah, of Soper, Oklahoma; daughter. Cynthia Ann Holle and husband, Jeff, of Lorena; sister, Susan Braswell of Uncertain and grandchildren, Rachel Holle, Rebekah Holle, Trevor Bonds and Brody Bonds. He was preceded in death by his parents.
