Isla Alcorn

Isla Faye died peacefully, early Thursday morning November 27th, 2014 at the Cedar Lake Nursing Home in Malakoff, Texas. Isla Faye was born January 1, 1932 and raised in Sulphur Springs, Texas by her late parents U.S. and Myrtle Williams. Proceeded in death by her brother Hollis Wayne Williams. She married Thurman Lee Alcorn of Yantis, Texas in February of 1954; they had two children Steve and Charlotte and proceeded in death two infant sons; and her loving husband Thurman in 1987.

Survived by her beloved children son Steve Alcorn and Lana of Saltillo, Texas. Daughter Charlotte Regester and Monte of Athens, Texas. Grandchildren Keith Regester, Phillip Alcorn and Meghan and Caitlin Cornell and Jason. Also, four great-grandchildren John Alcorn, Weston Alcorn, Cason Cornell, and Will Cornell.

A graveside service will be held at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00pm.
