Herman Wall

February 14, 1929 — April 2, 2017

Funeral services for Herman Earl Wall, age 88, of Dike will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel, Sulphur Springs, with Jerry Savage officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Brashear Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Herman passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs. He was born on February 14, 1929 in Cooper, Texas, The son of George and Eunia Lee (Worley) Wall. He married Mary Duffer in Dallas, TX on May 27, 1970. Herman was of the Baptist faith, served in the Air Force and was a retired Metal Fabricator.

He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Wall, Anita Fuqua, Lisia Tamayo and husband Michael; grandchildren, Ryan Wall, Matthew Wall, Sunshine Zimmerman, Justin Fuqua, Shannon Tamayo, Mindy Daehn, Sasha Fuqua-Ball, Logan Gerecht, Sarah Marks, Lacey Tyree; 10 great grandchildren; brother Lindy Wall; daughter-in-law, Sherry Wall.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; sons, Paul Wall and Wendell Wall; brothers, Jimmy Parks, Ronny Parks and George Wall.

The cemetery is located on FM 2653 south of Interstate 30in the Brashear Community. From Sulphur Springs, take I-30 west. Exit at Brashear; from stop sign take left. Pass post office and Baptist Church. At next stop sign take right. Cemetery is about � mile down on the right hand side of the road very easily seen.

Pass post office and Baptist Church. At next stop sign take right. Cemetery is about � mile down on the right hand side of the road very easily seen.
