Funeral services for Henry Watts, age 78, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009, with Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will follow at Arbala Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Henry Watts passed away Wednesday evening, April 29, 2009 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jefferson, Georgia, on March 23, 1931, the son of Ruby Bell (Ivy) Watts. He married Ruby Nell Gammill at Belton, on June 1, 1957; she survives. Mr. Watts was a retired United States Army sergeant and had worked at Feeders Supply. He was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: two sons, Richard Watts of Emory and David Watts of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Dakota Watts, River Watts, Erin Watts, Cadie Watts, Samantha Pennington and Ruby Pennington. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Bobby Watts.
