Helen Turvey

Funeral services for Helen Turvey of Emory, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012, with Brother B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with M. J. Guidry, Brian Hennigan, Brandon Hennigan and Travis Hennigan serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1:00 p.m.)
Our beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend, Helen Gertrude Turvey, aged 99 years young went to live with our Lord in Heaven on March 24, 2012.
Mother was a lovely woman inside and out. She had a strong survival instinct and she demonstrated this through her love for her family and friends which was a beautiful thing to see. She will be missed.
She is survived by her two daughters, Helen Roberta Hennigan and Kathleen Fay Guidry; sons-in-law, George Ray Hennigan and Murrel John Guidry, Jr; four grandchildren, Michael Hennigan, Brian Hennigan, Chretien Guidry and Francois Guidry and six great-grandchildren.
