Helen Mobley

A funeral service for Helen Gertrude Mobley, age 86, of Greenville, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Spence Chapel in First Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Helen Mobley passed away at Briarcliff Health Center of Greenville, Thursday morning, June 18, 2009. She was born in the Emblem Community, on November 26, 1922, the daughter of J. C. Ferrell and Ethel (Speed) Ferrell. She married Robert Howard Mobley in Sulphur Springs, on April 12, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Mobley was homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son, Bobby Mobley of Greenville; brother, Jerry Ferrell of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Sally Williams of Emblem and Betty McDonald of Dallas and grandson, Aaron Mobley of Fort Worth.
