Harlon Carpenter

Visitation for Harlon Carpenter, age 75, of Sulphur Springs will be held from 1 to 3 P.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel.  Mr. Carpenter passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Sulphur Springs, TX

Harlon Lewis was born on December 28, 1942 in Como, TX to Hardy and Lizzy Carpenter.  He married  Janie Elaine Sewell on May 11, 1963 in Dallas Texas.  Harlon was a driver for Yellow Freight Lines and a member of Westwood Park Baptist Church, Irving.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Elaine; son, Michael Dwayne Carpenter and Tami Warren; daughter, Janet Lee Clark and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Justin Lane Moon and wife, Martha, Jordan Dachelle Wolfe and husband, Ryan Gene; great grandchildren, Brylee Elizabeth Moon, Bryson Lee Moon, Journey Blake Wolfe.

Harlon was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hardy Carpenter, Jr., George Creamer, Luther Creamer, Frank Creamer; sisters, Audrey Jacks, Barbara Dunivan.
