Gwendolyn Perkins

A graveside service for Gwendolyn Carol Perkins, age 73, of Forney, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at Tira Cemetery with Rev. Ed Dodd officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Gwendolyn Carol Perkins passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 10, 2013 at Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale. She was born in Tira on May 22, 1939, the daughter of Olicer W. and Hazel Lawrence. She married William Perkins in Hugo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was a homemaker and a member of Tira Methodist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Jan Cody of Forney; son Robert Chapman and wife Anne Pass of Dallas; grandchildren, Brad Cody, Krista Jackson, Morgan Speaks, Megan Chapman and James Chapman and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father.
