A graveside service for Golda Tramel, age 92 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Morgan Richey, Kellen Tramel, Keil Kimmons and Mario Mata. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Golda Tramel passed away at Carriage House Manor, Monday morning, May 28, 2012. She was born in Sulphur Springs on January 26, 1920, the daughter of Roy Lee Simpson and Addie Blanche (Jones) Simpson. She married Marcus Almarine "M.A." Tramel in Sulphur Springs, January 2, 1940. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Tramel Paint and Body Shop and she was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Tramel and wife, Nancy, and Marcus Tramel and wife, Linda, all of Sulphur Springs; one daughter, Kathy Richey of Rowlett; five grandchildren, Amy Mata and husband, Mario, Julie Ward, Morgan Richey and wife, Kristin, Brenda Kimmons and husband, Keil, and Kellen Tramel and six great-grandchildren, Mario and Marianna Mata, Brian and Barry Ward, Bradley and Evelyn Kimmons. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one step-sister and one great-grandchild.
