Funeral Services for Geraldine Howell, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Jerry Savage and Buddy Wiggins officiating with members of the League Street Christ of Christ serving as pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation.
Geraldine Howell died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Rock Creek Nursing Home in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was a retired Administrative Assistant to the President of J.P. Morgan Chase in Garland, TX.
She was born on September 12, 1932, the daughter of Jerry L. and Janette Vaughn Willis. She married Bobby Ray Howell on April 20, 1956 in Oak Cliff, TX. He survives.
Survivors included: son, Randy Howell and wife, Dana of Rockwall; daughter, Jeanna Bayer of Denton; sister, Dortheal Speed of Posey; brothers, Alfred Willis of Birthright and Jerry Don Willis of Rockwall; grandchildren, Keitra Ellis, Adam Martin, Kaitlyn, Taylor and Lane Howell and one great-grandchild, Raven Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents.
